Our
story.

"All normal" is the most reassuring phrase in medicine, and one of the least informative. A standard health check measures a handful of markers against ranges built to detect disease that has already arrived. Come back inside those ranges and you are told you are fine — which is true, and not the same as being well.

Consider what a routine cholesterol panel leaves out. ApoB, which counts the particles that actually deposit in artery walls rather than the cholesterol they carry. hs-CRP, for the low-grade inflammation that precedes a great deal. HbA1c alongside a full thyroid and hormone picture, because metabolism is not one number. Individually, each is a footnote. Together they can make a risk visible years before it becomes an event.

None of this is new science. These assays have existed for decades and the evidence behind them is well established. They are simply outside what a standard check is designed to look for, because that check was built to find illness rather than to measure health.

Osiro exists to close that gap. We report up to 96 results — 63 measured directly from one blood draw, plus 33 calculated from them — and we have a doctor read every one before you see your results.

We are not a replacement for your GP. We are the preventive layer that should sit alongside them, and we will tell you plainly when something needs their attention rather than ours.

Our principles

Three commitments
we won't compromise.

Every decision at Osiro — from which lab partners we use to how we write your results summary — runs through these three filters.

Principle i

Measure deeply.

The body is a system of systems. A panel of a dozen markers tells you whether you are ill. A panel of ninety-six tells you where you actually stand. We refuse to ship anything less.

Principle ii

Interpret personally.

Numbers without context are just noise. Every Osiro panel is reviewed by a licensed clinician who writes you a personal summary. No PDF dumps. No algorithm-only interpretations.

Principle iii

Respect always.

Your health data is the most intimate data you have. We store it under UK GDPR–compliant encryption, we never sell it, and you can request an export or full deletion of your record at any time.

Our clinical model

Every panel is read by a doctor.

Not an algorithm, and not a template. A clinician reviews your results and writes your summary before you ever see it.

A doctor reviews every result

Clinical oversight

No panel is released to a member until a GMC-registered doctor has read it in full and written the interpretation. Where software helps prepare that summary, a clinician edits and signs it off — the doctor is the author, not the reviewer of a machine's opinion.

Accredited laboratory analysis

How samples are handled

Samples are processed by a UKAS-accredited medical laboratory operating to ISO 15189, the international standard for medical testing. The same laboratory infrastructure used by NHS and private clinical pathways.

CQC-registered clinics

Where your blood is drawn

Draws take place at clinics registered with the Care Quality Commission, by trained phlebotomists. You are not posting a finger-prick sample and hoping it survives the journey.

Reference ranges built for prevention

How results are judged

A standard laboratory range asks whether you are ill. Ours ask whether you are optimal, so our bands are deliberately narrower — a marker flagged borderline here may sit inside the laboratory's normal range. Your report says so explicitly.

Your data stays yours

Privacy

Health data is special-category data under UK GDPR and we treat it that way: encrypted in transit and at rest, held in the UK, never sold, and never shared with insurers or employers. You can export or delete it.

No upsells at the point of care

How we make money

We charge for the panel and the consultation. Clinicians are not incentivised on supplements, follow-on tests or treatments, because the moment they are, the advice stops being advice.

Our path so far

A short timeline.

01

Join the waitlist

Membership opens in waves so that every member gets a real clinical review rather than a queue position. You'll hear from us directly.

02

Book your draw

Choose a CQC-registered clinic and a time. One venous sample covers the whole panel — no repeat visits, no separate appointments per marker.

03

Laboratory analysis

Your sample is processed by a UKAS-accredited medical laboratory working to ISO 15189. We don't publish a turnaround promise we can't control.

04

A doctor reviews it

A clinician reads every marker, writes your summary and signs it off. Nothing reaches you before that happens.

05

Understand and act

Your full report, with every measured and calculated result, the optimal band for each, and what your clinician suggests you do next.
